Maple Nut Granola

Serves: 1 baking sheet full
- 5 cups Old Fashioned Oats
- 1 cup Sunflower Seeds
- 1 cup Slivered Almonds
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- (or 1 cup pistachios)
- ½ cup Brown Sugar
- ½ cup Water
- ½ cup Canola oil
- ¾ cup Maple Syrup
- 1½ cups Raisins
- Preheat oven 275F
- Mix all the dry ingredients together, except for the pistachios if using and the raisins.
- Whisk together water, canola oil and maple syrup
- Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients
- Spread on a cookie sheet
- Place in the oven for 45 mins
- Remove, mix it well and bake again for another 45 mins. If using Pistachios add them in at this time.
- Remove and add the Raisins
- Cool and store in airtight container.
